Mayuri Gonzalez
Mayuri Gonzalez, E-RYT, RCYT, is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer, and instructor in mindfulness, children’s yoga, and chair yoga. She serves as the program director of Little Flower Yoga’s School Yoga Project, managing weekly school-based yoga and mindfulness classes for more than 2,500 children in New York City and the metropolitan area. With 17 years’ experience as an instructor, and training in a variety of yoga styles, Mayuri has taught more than 1,000 children’s yoga and mindfulness classes in schools and community settings, and leads teacher trainings and seminars across the United States. She also provides therapeutic yoga classes to children and families, and leads programs for mental-health and education professionals interested in bringing yoga and mindfulness tools into their institutions. Mayuri created a teacher training program designed to bring chair yoga into schools and clinical settings, and is author of the forthcoming book Little Flower Chair Yoga Basics: A Sustainable Approach.
