Pamela Stokes Eggleston

Director of Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy

Pamela Stokes Eggleston, C-IAYT, E-RYT-500, is the founder of Yoga2Sleep, Co-Founder of Retreat to Spirit, Adjunct Faculty at the Maryland University of Integrative Health and the Director of the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. She is a certified yoga therapist, reiki master, and end-of-life doula with specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and trauma informed yoga to work with service members, veterans, their caregivers, and insomnia sufferers. Pamela is a contributing editor of Best Practices for Yoga with Veterans and Yoga and Resilience: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma.

Pamela was first introduced to Kripalu in 2011 through the Pranakriya 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher training. Since then, she has continued her connection with Kripalu as a Luminary presenter on the topics of trauma and trauma-informed practice, self-care, collective care, and equity, and as a presenter at the Black Yoga Teachers Alliance Conference.

Pamela’s writing and work has been featured with Yoga Therapy Today, Gaiam, Military Spouse Magazine, Yoga Journal, Mantra Yoga and Health, Essence, the Huffington Post, and on Ellen and MSNBC. She is the author of You Are the Pendulum: Poems and Practices for an Unsettling World. Pamela loves dancing, blending teas, gardening and the outdoors.
