Patricia L. Gerbarg, MD, assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at New York Medical College, graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute, practices Integrative Psychiatry, combining standard and complementary treatments. She researches mind-body practices for stress, anxiety, depression, veterans, disasters survivors, and stress-related medical conditions. She writes scientific articles, chapters and award-winning books on complementary and integrative treatments.
