Rabba Kaya Stern-Kaufman

Rabba Kaya Stern-Kaufman recently served as Interim Rabbi for several Northeastern synagogues. She is the founder of Rimon: Resource Center for Jewish Spirituality, and served as the executive director and spiritual leader from 2012–2016. In 2015, she  was recognized by The Forward as one of “America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis.” As a Jewish educator, she offers innovative programs in synagogues and retreat centers on reclaiming ancient Jewish wisdom for contemporary and practical application. Ordained by the Academy for Jewish Religion, she also holds a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in social work from NYU. She is also a Fellow of CLAL’s Rabbis Without Borders and alum of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.
