Richard Horowitz

Richard Horowitz, MD, is a board-certified internist in private practice in Hyde Park, New York. He is medical director of the Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center, an integrative medical center combining classical and complementary approaches in the treatment of Lyme disease and other tick-borne disorders. He has treated more than 12,000 patients with chronic Lyme disease, who come to him from all over the world. Richard is one of the founding members and past president-elect of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society. He is author of the New York Times best-seller Why Can’t I Get Better? Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease and his latest national best-seller, How Can I Get Better? An Action Plan for Treating Resistant Lyme and Chronic Disease.
