Robert Saper
Robert Saper, MD, is an associate professor of family medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine, and director of the Boston Medical Center Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Care Disparities. He has more than 25 years of experience building research, educational, and clinical programs in patient-centered integrative medicine. Robert graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1988 and UCSF family medicine residency in 1992. After eight years of private practice in the San Francisco Bay area, he completed a three-year Harvard Medical School Integrative Medicine Research Fellowship, and founded the BMC Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Care Disparities in 2004. His research interests include integrative medicine for the underserved, yoga for chronic back pain, and traditional Indian medicine.
