Shane Hobel

Shane Hobel founded the Mountain Scout Survival School, rated among the top 10 schools in the country specializing in wilderness primitive ancestral skills, urban emergencies, and family preparedness. Shane’s teaching draws from his Native American heritage and his study and application of survival skills. He has been featured on CNN, the History Channel, and The Today Show. Shane is a member of the National Tracker Search and Forensic Investigation Team, an elite group of five trackers, and has been an instructor of traditional martial arts for more than 26 years.
