SuEllen Hamkins

SuEllen Hamkins, MD, is coauthor of The Mother-Daughter Project: How Mothers and Daughters Can Band Together, Beat the Odds and Thrive Through Adolescence. She has given numerous presentations throughout the world about the mother-daughter connection. As a psychiatrist at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, she helps people cultivate their values and strengths in the face of difficulties. SuEllen lives with her family in western Massachusetts, and raising her two daughters has been the most thrilling and rewarding work of her life.
