Surya Little has practiced yoga for more than 25 years, holds 200- and 500-hour certifications with the Yoga Alliance, and traveled the globe studying yoga philosophy. Her teaching is grounded in the structure and alignment of Iyengar Yoga. One of the few to study Ashtanga Yoga directly with K. Pattabhi Jois, Surya also studied Tibetan Buddhist meditation with Tsoknyi Rinpoche. Her passion and warmth is complemented by her nutritional knowledge, which combines Ayurveda, macrobiotics, and Taoist Five-Element theory. Cofounder of Prajna Yoga with her husband, Tias Little, Surya specializes in women’s health in yoga, consulting with women on nutrition and yoga therapeutics.
