Tari Prinster, a cancer survivor, master yoga teacher, and author, developed Yoga4Cancer (y4c) using contemporary research on cancer and yoga. She is the founder and president of The Retreat Project, a nonprofit whose mission is to help underserved and low-income women through yoga and other modalities. Over the last decade, she has worked with thousands of survivors through classes and retreats. Tari is a regular presenter at yoga conferences and author of Yoga for Cancer: A Guide to Managing Side Effects, Boosting Immunity, and Improving Recovery for Cancer Survivors. She was featured in the documentary Yogawoman.
