Tiffany Curtis
Tiffany Curtis (500 RYT) is a 15+ year interdisciplinary community designer, facilitator, and former youth worker based in Lenapehoking (Staten Island, New York). As the founder of Indwell Collaborative, a culture design studio for social healing, Tiffany has created intergenerational social justice programs reaching over 20,000 people across the global community—from the United States to East Africa, from higher education to philanthropy. She received her BA in Communication and Black Studies from DePauw University and MS in Cultural Foundations of Education with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Women's and Gender Studies from Syracuse University.
Tiffany honors her place as a grief-walker and daughter of Liberia as she tends to the potent blood memory of her ancestors who migrated from Barbados and Turtle Island back to Liberia in the late 1800s. Her vision is to help make sense of the shared impact of migratory experiences - which she also honors in her lay service as a birth worker, Reiki practitioner, and transformational coach. As a facilitator, Tiffany weaves insights from cultural studies, Afro-indigenous spirituality, the Dharma, the Gospel, and yogic wisdom. Tiffany is a proud auntie, cousin, daughter, friend, godmother, granddaughter, niece, and sister—roles she holds as the guiding light for her soul work to reveal our paths of remembrance and liberation.
