Through the expert leadership of Kripalu Faculty and mental health professionals, experience the tools of yoga to promote mental well-being. Learn from the experts how to assess and create a yoga wellness plan for a variety of mental health conditions pertinent in a group or individual yoga therapy session. Using case studies and experiential practice, students engage with the material through intellectual discourse and embodied learning.
This course fulfills 75 contact hours: structured as a hybrid training, a single synchronous online weekend, and a seven-day immersion on campus. Successful completion of program hours count toward the 800-Hour Professional Yoga Therapist Training Program accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
