Release the Grip of Suffering

We have all been hurt. And most of us, at some point, have caused harm, too.

Forgiveness isn’t about letting anyone off the hook. It doesn’t require you to like what happened or pretend it didn’t. It doesn’t even ask you to stop holding yourself or others accountable. What it does offer is a way to release the grip of suffering—with honesty, with friendliness, with an open heart—so that you are no longer defined by what was done to you, or what you have done.

That freedom is what this retreat is about.

Together we’ll work with forgiveness as a living, embodied practice—not a concept to agree with, but a path to actually walk. Through lovingkindness meditation, yoga, breathwork, movement, writing, and time outdoors, we’ll explore how to soften toward ourselves and others without bypassing the truth of what happened. We’ll also gently begin the longer process of repairing harm we may have caused—not to resolve everything here, but to start.  

In this program, you’ll be invited into:

  • Guided meditation and lovingkindness practice
  • Yoga asana and breathwork
  • Reflective journaling and expressive writing
  • Movement and outdoor ritual
  • Community connection, group dialogue, and shared witnessing
  • Rest and genuine renewal

Come explore forgiveness as a path back to your personal and collective heart. This weekend is a beginning, not an ending. Transformation and restoration begin within us.
