Bio
Christine Bissonnette, E-RYT 500, YACEP, NCTMB CE Provider, is Core Faculty at Kripalu, a mentor for the Kripalu School of Yoga, an R&R workshop presenter, and a teacher in the Kripalu Online Studio. She is also an Integrated Positional Therapist, Reiki Master, and bodyworker with over 25 years of experience in holistic healing and movement.
Passionate about service and transformation, Christine is deeply curious about how individuals can cultivate sustainable change, live more peaceful pain-free lives, and remember their innate capacity for compassion and connection.
As a holistic health educator, she brings a blend of expertise, intuition, and playfulness to her teaching, creating space for personal and collective transformation. She embraces the philosophy of “your yoga,” encouraging each person to honor their unique body and needs.
Her experience spans Kripalu, private practice, medical settings, and hospice care, offering insight into the body across all stages of life. An anatomy enthusiast and skilled teacher, she helps students develop a functional understanding of movement while cultivating ease, joy, and resilience.
With deep gratitude for these practices, and a love of chanting as a way to keep the heart open, Christine inspires others to move, heal, and live with greater awareness, presence, and compassion.
