Bio
Michelle Dalbec is an E-RYT® 500, YACEP®, and 1,000-hour Kripalu certified yoga teacher, teacher trainer, and mentor with more than 25 years of teaching experience. She has been a member of Kripalu’s faculty for more than 15 years and currently serves as a Lead Faculty member and a lead teacher trainer for the Kripalu School of Yoga. She also teaches R&R yoga classes and workshops, leads Kripalu Experience Retreats, and is a Kripalu RISE™ facilitator.
Michelle sees yoga as a lifelong practice of cultivating relationships—with one’s own body, breath, and mind, with one another, and with the world around us. Her teaching encourages students to become curious about their own experience rather than simply striving to achieve a pose or follow a prescribed path. She invites students to become active participants in their practice, developing the curiosity and discernment to listen, adapt, and discover and discover what supports them. Her passion for practice extends into creativity and community through Knit Pray Love, the retreats and community she founded around knitting, mindfulness, and connection.
For Michelle, practice can take many forms, and each can become a doorway to greater presence, creativity, and connection.
“Michelle has both experience and a good teaching technique. Her instruction was clear and concise. I learned much from her.”
