Kripalu Recipe: Moroccan Salmon
Sweet, savory, and warmly spiced, this Moroccan Salmon brings bold flavor to a simple weeknight meal. A glaze of honey, tamari, ginger, and warming spices creates a rich balance of heat and depth, while fresh cilantro and lime brighten each bite. Easy to prepare and deeply satisfying, it’s a nourishing dish that feels both comforting and vibrant.
For the Moroccan Salmon:
2 Lbs. Salmon
For the Moroccan Glaze:
1 cup honey
¼ cup tamari
½ cup ketchup
1 cinnamon stick
2 ea. star anise
1 tsp. siracha
½ tsp ground coriander
1 T. grated ginger
½ tsp ground cloves
1 tsp. black pepper
¼ c lime juice
2 T. cilantro fresh chopped
Portion Salmon into 6 oz. portions. Pan sear both sides and set aside on a baking sheet.
For the glaze: Combine all ingredients except cilantro. Cook for 20–30 minutes until reduced to glaze consistency. Stir cilantro into sauce.
With pastry brush paint glaze onto salmon portions and place int a 350 degree oven until desired temperature. Add more sauce if needed or personal taste.
