Bio
Anu Gupta, MPhil, JD, is an award-winning author, speaker, meditation teacher, well-being advisor, lawyer, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges neuroscience, contemplative practice, interspiritual wisdom, and human flourishing. He is the author of Breaking Bias, with a foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, which offers a science-backed approach to cultivating greater awareness, compassion, resilience, and freedom.
For more than a decade, Anu has coached and guided over 100,000 people through keynote presentations, executive advising, meditation retreats, and transformative learning experiences that support personal healing, well-being, constructive dialogue, and wise leadership. Drawing from Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, and other contemplative traditions alongside modern neuroscience, he translates timeless wisdom into practical tools that cultivate well-being, compassion, resilience, and human flourishing. He has shared his work with over 300 organizations, including Dubai Future Forum, Google, TED, SxSW, and HSBC.
Anu has spent more than 10,000 hours in silent meditation retreats across the United States and Asia. He is a 500-hour certified yoga and meditation teacher, a lifetime Fellow of the Mind & Life Institute, and a graduate of NYU School of Law and the University of Cambridge. He is also the author of Soul Force for the 21st Century, a Substack exploring contemplative wisdom, well-being, and flourishing in a rapidly changing world. Together with Justin Senense, he co-created PAUSE™, an embodied, integrative well-being methodology that weaves together movement, music, meditation, and interspiritual wisdom to help people come home to themselves.
