Carla Olla is a 200- and 300-hour E-RYT yoga teacher. She is the founder and owner of Rhinebeck Yoga Center in Rhinebeck, NY, where she has been leading yoga teacher training programs and teaching weekly classes since its creation in 2018. Prior to that, she owned, taught, and led yoga teacher trainings at Love Yoga Center in Naples, Florida. She has been a dedicated yoga teacher since 2004, having gotten her start in Woodstock, NY.

Carla leads global and local yoga retreats frequently, with India being a favorite spot. She is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and holds certificates in Ayurveda Yoga, Reiki, and Thai Yoga Massage. She has recently been part of a research study team at Vassar College gathering information on the effects that yoga has on resilience in young women.

Before becoming a yoga teacher, Carla worked as a professional musician and was guitarist on a world tour with Deborah Harry, earning her a Gold Record. She played with many local NYC bands including playing bass with Dee Dee Ramone of The Ramones. In her spare time, she enjoys learning to play new instruments, hiking, dreaming, meditating, and learning new things.
