Bio
Cassandra Cureton (she/her) is a full-time yoga educator and E-RYT 500 who offers inclusive, empowering movement experiences for people of all ages and abilities. She discovered yoga in 2017 while navigating chronic back pain, scoliosis, and sciatica, and the practice became a transformative path toward healing and resilience. With more than 30 years of experience in communications and training, Cassandra brings clarity, warmth, and accessibility to her teaching. Although she teaches yoga styles from aqua yoga to vinyasa yoga, Cassandra specializes in chair yoga. She created the yoga teacher training workshop Don’t Sleep on Chair Yoga, expanding how teachers use the chair to support sustainable, adaptable practice. Whether on a mat, in a chair, or in water, Cassandra invites students into practices that are supportive, engaging, and deeply nourishing. When she’s not teaching, she loves creating graphic tees with inspirational or snarky quotes and baking artisan breads and sweet treats to share with family and friends.
