Christopher Byrne, RN, AEMT, I/C, AHA BLS, is on faculty with the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership and has been involved in EMS for almost 10 years. He began his career as an EMT-Basic before earning his Intermediate certification, then finally his Advanced EMT in 2016. Christopher is certified as a Wilderness EMT from the Solo, New Hampshire, School of Wilderness and Survival and earned his associate’s in nursing from Berkshire Community College; he currently works as a critical care nurse in a level 2 trauma center, He’s also certified to teach CPR, wilderness first aid, choke saver, first responder, and initial EMT courses.
