Bio

Hari Kirin Khalsa, MD, C-IAYT, E-RYT® 500, YACEP® served for 35 years in hospitals, as a nurse’s aide, registered nurse, and an obstetrician gynecologist physician. Having found the benefits of yoga and meditation for her own restoration, she retired her medical practice in 2012 to learn more. She now explores and leverages the intersection of science, medicine, and yoga technology for the alleviation of suffering and the prevention of stress related sequelae. She manifests this as a skilled and compassionate yoga therapist, providing grounding and uplifting equity-based nonprofit classes and sessions with her colleagues in central Massachusetts.

She serves as faculty and develops curriculum with the Guru Ram Das Center’s International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training. She keeps connection as volunteer faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMASS Memorial Health, and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
