Bio
JJ Luceno is an artist, mother, land-steward, and facilitator. She believes our ancient tools of meaning-making—creative expression through movement, art, attuning to the natural world, and storytelling—can help grow our imagination and deepen our capacity to face collective and personal times of transition. Her work weaves myth, nature-based learning, creative aarts, and intergenerational exchange. She is a MotherCircle facilitator, SoulCollage® facilitator, and trained in body-based, trauma-informed expressive arts. She has worked with people of all ages in wildly different settings: urban community clinics, forest schools, domestic violence shelters, collectives, and retreats. At the heart of her work is a devotion to building imaginative motherculture that uplifts and affirms mothering as a force of nature, interconnected with all life.
