Lauren Harkness is the cofounder of The Tantra Institute where she develops and leads workshops, coaches private clients, and facilitates trauma release. She earned a degree in psychology from the University of Washington and is a graduate of Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts. She is an advanced certified tantra educator with Charles Muir’s Source School of Tantra. Lauren studied Lafayette Morehouse practices and is trained in D/S and shamanism with Om Rupani and somatic experiencing with Peter Levine. She is a creative entrepreneur, Reiki Master, plant medicine facilitator, and jewelry designer whose designs have been featured in media publications, on celebrities, and in art shows around the country. She and The Tantra Institute have been featured in New York Magazine, The Sunday Times UK, Cosmopolitan, San Francisco Chronicle, LA Times, Playboy, the EPIX series "Sex Life", and more.
