Maya Tiwari, founder of the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda and Mother Om Mission, is a spiritual leader who has been praised by the Parliament of the World’s Religions for fostering global peace and interfaith understanding. She initiated the Living Ahimsa World Tour, teaching people to cultivate inner harmony and work together for peace, and established the first Ayurvedic school in North American in 1981. Maya belongs to the Veda Vyasa tradition and walks a simple, accessible life in service. She is an acclaimed author who has received the prestigious Dhanvantari International and Rishi awards in recognition of more than 25 years of pioneering work in restoring the sadhana principle of Ayurveda.
