Bio

Morley Kamen is a singer, producer, composer, and curator who weaves the threads of jazz, soul, and global-folk traditions into a singular tapestry of vocal and acoustic splendor—the sound wave of a life lived with uncommon devotion to human rights and environmental justice. To date, Morley has released eight albums and spearheaded the fundraiser Borderless Lullabies that continues to be a source of revenue for the pro-bono legal defense fund, KIND: Kids In Need Of Defense. She recently released Follow The Sound with her husband, Chris Bruce (multi-instrumentalist and producer of Lizz Wright, Meshell Ndegeocello, and more) featuring Toumani Diabaté, Jon Cowherd, Trina Basu, and Arun Ramamurthy.

Morley also uses music as a tool for dialogue facilitation and conflict resolution when working with survivors of war. She was certified to teach Hatha yoga through Siviananda and has taught internationally for over two decades. Her album Yoga Release has had over 13 million streams and has been a great source of sonic healing to many.
