Nicaela Haig is the Senior Teacher Naturalist with Mass Audubon's Berkshire Wildlife Sanctuaries. Her areas of deep interest include bird ecology, native pollinators, and the human-wildlife interface more generally. Prior to returning to New England to work with Mass Audubon about five years ago, she spent a decade facilitating environmental education and interpretation programs with multiple conservation organizations in the Midwest and Intermountain West, mainly centered in public lands. No matter where she lived and worked, Nicaela has always been passionate about helping people demystify and deepen the connections they already have with the more-than-human world around them.
