Rabbi Shefa Gold, a leader in ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal, is director of the Center for Devotional Energy and Ecstatic Practice in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. She composes and performs spiritual music, has produced 10 albums, and her liturgies have been published in several new prayer books. She leads workshops and retreats on the theory and art of chanting, devotional healing, spiritual community-building, and meditation, is a resource faculty for the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, and a fellow for the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership’s Rabbis without Borders. Her project, SOULIFT, is a weeklong immersion in spiritual practice designed to lift us into the Soul perspective.
