Rebecca Nidorf
Bio
Rebecca Nidorf, LCSW-R, is a psychotherapist and guide whose work lives at the threshold between the clinical and the sacred. Based in New York's Hudson Valley with her partner and their four adult children, Rebecca holds a full-time private practice devoted primarily to couples and relationships, which, in her view, being one of the great initiatory grounds of the soul. Her approach is shaped by teachers she holds with deep gratitude—among them Pia Melody's work on relational trauma, the fierce tenderness of poets like Andrea Gibson, and the depths of Jungian and archetypal psychology.
For the past six years, she has undertaken a deep reckoning with the decolonization of psychotherapy: questioning what it means to hold the role of psychotherapist within a Western lineage now being asked to shed old skins. She approaches this soul work not as technique but as devotion, with reverence for relationality and an abiding respect for mystery.
