Robin Downes is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and hatha yoga instructor to the stars with clients including Vanessa Williams, Brandy, John Salley, LisaRaye McCoy, and Russell Simmons. In 2004, she became the first African American woman to have an internationally distributed video through Wal-Mart Yoga Flava for Relaxation, Vol.1. In 2005, Robin was  Awarded The “Trailblazer In Yoga” by the International Association of Black Yoga Teachers. She received the 2021 Crystalship Artists Visionary Award for the trailer of her documentary, Yoga Flava: The Silva Lining.
