Bio
Stephon J. Bradberry, M.A., is a visionary strategic leader transforming the way we build community, fortify individuals, and tend to the soul. A 2025 CBC Power 100 Honoree and one of Washington, D.C.’s Best Yoga Teachers, he has a proven track record of advancing mission-critical initiatives across government, higher education, advocacy, and community well-being.
Across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Stephon brings a clarity of conviction and deep integrity rooted in a lifelong commitment to justice. His work spans community engagement, government communications, wellness education, and systems change united through a singular vision: a world where all people, in all places, are free, healed, and whole.
As a communications expert and small business owner, Stephon infuses every campaign, convening, and initiative with story, spirit, and strategy. He most recently served in Washington, D.C.’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE), where he led narrative and partnership efforts in support of violence intervention and community healing.
Stephon is also the founder of FlowWell Yoga + Wellness, an 8,000-strong grassroots community doing justice and getting free—one yoga class, one community, one nation at a time. Through FlowWell, he co-founded the Black Folx Wellness Collective, a network working to make wellness accessible to all.
Born in Niagara Falls, New York, and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Stephon now lives in Washington, D.C. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts from American University. A writer, teacher, and forever a student, Stephon believes we cannot be free without each other, disembodied, or without justice.
