Sunder Ashni ("Ashni") began exploring the tarot through dream images and self-study after being gifted a goddess tarot deck as a birthday gift. She moved to Costa Rica in 2012 and deepened her practice by offering beach side readings daily. It was there she cultivated the confidence and craft to connect, communicate to—and through—spirit. Upon her return to the states in 2014, Ashni engaged in an apprenticeship with Dainichi Luz and Linda Cohen which cultivated an understanding of the tarot as it relates to the Kabbalah, plants, and archetypal energies. After joining the collective at MINKA Brooklyn, Ashni continued cultivating her intuitive abilities, utilizing cards, clouds, facial expressions to interpret messages from spirit.
