Bio

Zachary Kraft-Shinn began training in the martial arts at the age of 3. He has studied many different styles including Tang Soo Do, Sanda, Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Kobudo and Brazilian Jiu jitsu. Zack earned his 200-hour yoga teacher training from Kripalu's School of Yoga in 2013. While there, he took a Yoga Nidra class with Jennifer Reis and found the experience profoundly transformational—many moons later, he is still called "The Yoga Dragon". In 2018, Zack trained under Micah Mortali and Mark Roule to earn his Kripalu Outdoor Guide, Level 1 certificate. He most recently earned his black belt in Shorin-Ryu Reihokan Karate-Do from Sensei Mark Spear of Black Bear Dojo. Zack now offers mindful outdoor experiences, archery, tai chi, and qigong classes and workshops at Kripalu..
