Kimberly Carson

Kimberly Carson, MPH, C-IAYT, E-RYT, a yoga therapist and mindfulness educator at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, uses yoga and meditation with patients living with pain, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. She codirects Mindful Yoga professional trainings for chronic pain and cancer, and codirects Yoga for Seniors teacher trainings with Carol Krucoff. Kimberly coauthored studies at Duke University Medical Center, OHSU, and Kaiser Permanente using yoga and meditation for patients with chronic low-back pain, metastatic breast cancer pain, menopausal symptoms, fibromyalgia, opioid dependence, and multiple sclerosis. In addition, Kimberly teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher. .She is coauthor of Relax into Yoga for Seniors: A Six-Week Program for Strength, Balance, Flexibility, and Pain Relief.
