Kimberly Carson

Kimberly Carson, MPH, - C-IAYT, E-RYT   is a yoga -therapist at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. She codirects Mindful Yoga Professional Trainings for chronic pain and cancer as well as Yoga for Seniors teacher trainings. Kimberly coauthored studies at Duke University Medical Center, OHSU, and Kaiser Permanente using yoga and meditation for patients with chronic low-back pain, metastatic breast cancer pain, menopausal symptoms, fibromyalgia opioid-dependence and multiple sclerosis. In addition, Kimberly teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and is certified in Kripalu Yoga, pre-natal Integral Yoga, Cardiac Yoga as taught by Nischala Devi, and Level 1 iRest®.
