Leigh F. Hanke

Leigh F. Hanke, MD, MS, a physiatrist at Yale Medicine’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care and assistant professor of clinical orthopedics and rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine, specializes in Interventional spine and sports medicine. Leigh strives to empower her patients by educating them on their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to optimize their function, health, and quality of life. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Society of Sports Medicine, the Spine Intervention Society, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, and the American Society of Clinical Nutrition. Her clinical and research interests focus on the use of regenerative medicine (PRP and stem cells) for treatment of musculoskeletal conditions such as tendinopathy and osteoarthritis.
