Liz Witham

Liz Witham, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, is cofounder of Film-Truth Productions, a production company dedicated to making documentary films that inspire dialogue and address the social and environmental issues of our times. Her films have been profiled in media outlets including CBS, PBS, Boston Globe, Apple.com, Grammys.com, Rollingstone.com, and Virgin.com. Her most recent film, Keepers of the Light, will be distributed to PBS stations nationally in 2020 and her current film, Follow the Journey, is intended for national broadcast on PBS. She was awarded the Voice awards from the United States Government for Legacy of the Harp and was the 2013 recipients of the Walter Cronkite Award. In 2003, Liz received her master’s from Stanford in documentary film production. While a student there, her film Precipice was a finalist for a student Academy Award. Liz also cofounded, produced, directed, and edited all episodes of TEDx Martha’sVineyard in 2014.
