School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership

Overview

The Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership braids ideas from across cultures to create a modern understanding of mindfulness in the outdoors. As human beings, we spent the majority of our history living very close to the Earth. Research now shows what indigenous peoples, mystics, poets, and ecologists have known for a long time: mindful time in nature is profoundly good for us on all levels. As a Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, you will invite people into reciprocity with the Earth through a mindful connection to place. Our trainings are suitable for all those called to share nature’s gifts by integrating their love of the outdoors with mindfulness. Each training is a hands-on adventure that equips you to guide others as they experience the healing power of the natural world. Our community of mindful outdoor guides works in a variety of settings and with many different communities as mindful ambassadors between people and place.
