Loren Fishman, MD, BPhil (Oxon), spent a year in Pune, India, studying with B. K. S. Iyengar, before entering medical school, where he taught yoga to doctors, medical students, and nurses. He has been teaching yoga ever since. Loren has published 10 books and 90 papers, many on medical yoga. He teaches at Columbia University and has a private practice in New York City.
