Mark Gerow
Mark Gerow leads wellness classes, workshops, and retreats worldwide. He spent years as a survival instructor in the US Air Force and then a decade acting in New York City. Mark is in long-term recovery and specializes in teaching trauma-informed modalities, He spent several years facilitating mind-body classes in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Connecticut. He’s interested in recovering dormant skills that pertain to self-regulation and survival in order to create homeostasis and strength in one’s life. Mark uses nature connection, cold therapy, qigong, yoga, and meditation as ways to confront and soothe challenging emotions. He is the creator of Daily Dose Wellness and Lunarhythms Yoga, and author of the forthcoming book Years of Posing: A Yoga Teacher's Struggle with Trauma and Addiction.
