Zainab Salbi

Zainab Salbi, named by People Magazine as one of the “25 Women Changing the World,” is founder of Women for Women international, a grassroots humanitarian and development organization dedicated to serving women survivors of wars that has helped more than 400,000 women in eight areas of conflict. She is also the creator and host of several television shows including #MeToo, Now What? on PBS; The Zainab Salib Project, a series on Huffington Post; The Nidaa Show with TLC Arabic; and Through Her Eyes with Zainab Salbi for Yahoo! News. Zainab is also author of several books including the international best-seller Between Two Worlds: Escape from Tyranny: Growing Up in the Shadow of Saddam; If You Knew Me You Would Care; and Freedom Is an Inside Job: Owning Our Darkness and Our Light to Heal Ourselves and the World.
