The Art of Grounded Optimism
Map a new reality
Transform Fear into Courage
Staying optimistic in times of uncertainty is not easy, but it's a critical and life-changing practice that anchors us in the present while providing the internal roadmaps to guide us forward.
Co-hosted by Anne Therese, known as “The Climate Optimist”, and Eli Walker, founder of The Uplift Center, this transformative retreat bridges behavioral neuroscience, mindfulness, and play-based embodiment. Together, we will trade isolation for connection, rumination for possibility, and activate radical imagination to co-create the kinder, more resilient world that wants to emerge.
In this program, you'll move through yoga and embodiment classes, as well as data-fueled, reflective, and future-oriented workshops. You will experience:
- Embodied belonging: Belonging, like optimism, is an experiential skill, not circumstantial. Regulate your nervous system from the inside out with Yoga Uplifted™ and Meditation Uplifted™, designed to center and uplift.
- The neuroscience of change: Explore how stress and rumination block creativity, then learn to bypass old narratives with Theory U's "Presencing."
- Play-based breakthroughs: Use Eli's P.L.A.Y. Method and her 12 "Belonging Hacks" to turn belonging into a daily practice.
- The unimaginable future: Lead from the future through visionary journaling, mapping a reality beyond your current limitations.
- The "retruthing" exercise: Participate in a signature Climate Optimist practice to rewrite outdated worldviews and align your decisions with empowered growth.
You'll leave restored, connected, and equipped with social wellness strategies for your work, life, and communities, as well as new capacities for grounded optimism, creative resilience, and the somatic tools to turn fear into real change.
