Awakening your inner voice
Come Home to Yourself
What if the wisest voice in the room is your own? This weekend is an invitation to come home to yourself. Join Nicki Sizemore—culinary educator, acclaimed cookbook author, and creator of Mind, Body, Spirit, Food—for a retreat centered on one simple, life-changing skill: learning to hear, trust, and follow your inner voice. You'll trade your meditation pillow for the kitchen as a place to do inner work.
Through live inner voice sessions—worked individually and as a group—Nicki will guide you in identifying and releasing the blocks that keep you disconnected from your own knowing: old conditioning, self-doubt, the noise of "shoulds." You'll pair this inner work with embodiment and mindfulness practices that ground intuition in the body, not just the mind. Cooking demonstrations offer a living laboratory for these practices—a place to test, in real time, what it feels like to choose from instinct rather than instruction. Food is the classroom here, not the subject.
This retreat is designed to reconnect you more deeply with yourself, and to help you carry that connection into every part of your life—including, but not limited to, the kitchen.
In this program, you will discover:
- Live inner voice sessions, worked individually and as a group, to identify and release the blocks that keep you from your own intuition
- Embodiment and mindfulness practices that ground intuition in the body and senses, not just the mind
- Cooking demonstrations that put the practices into action—real-time opportunities to choose from instinct rather than instruction
- Guided reflection on the difference between your inner voice and your intuition, and how each shows up in daily life
This retreat is perfect for anyone ready to quiet the noise, release old blocks, and reconnect with the wisdom that's been within them all along. No cooking experience necessary.
NOTE: All attendees are requested to bring a journal and make the Kripalu staff aware of food allergies at registration.
