Moving From Shadow into Light

A winter solstice journey

Deepen into the Moment

The longest night holds a secret. In the heart of the darkness, before the first light returns, there is a pulse. Ancient. Erotic. Alive. It is the love-force of Gaia herself, the same intelligence that turns seeds toward the sun, that moves the tides, that draws things together to create. This is Eros. Not as romance. As cosmology.

At the Winter Solstice, we are invited to align with this force—to let our desires not just be personal wishes, but living prayers woven into the dreaming of the Earth. When we co-manifest from this place, we are no longer just creating for ourselves. We become stewards of the collective future—but first, we must be willing to meet the dark.

Join Japanese witches and ceremonial facilitators Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin and Fumiha Tanaka for four days of ritual, soul retrieval, plant wisdom, and breathwork. Held in the spirit of Huitzilopochtli, energetic principle rooted in Toltec philosophy of central Mexico—the solar force of regeneration—and the Eros of Gaia, this ceremony moves through the full arc: from shadow into light, from dissolution into form, from the personal into the collective.

In this retreat, you will experience:

  • Ritual
  • Soul retrieval
  • Plant wisdom
  • Breathwork

True co-manifestation does not bypass the shadow. It requires us to shine the light into it—to retrieve what was lost in the year's undoing, to reclaim what was buried beneath survival, and to alchemize it into the fuel of our becoming. The Winter Solstice is not only the return of the light. It is the moment we discover that we were the light all along.

As we cross from a Year 1 into a Year 2 in numerology—from the individual into the unified, from seed into root—we are being asked: What does Gaia desire through you? And what are you willing to birth into the light?
