In this Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader Certification, you’ll master the gentle yet powerful Tai Chi Easy™ method designed for all ages and fitness levels. This program simplifies traditional tai chi movements and medical qigong, offering a step-by-step guide to sharing these practices in communities, schools, faith institutions, hospitals, social service agencies, military programs, and the Veteran’s Administration.
Throughout the retreat, you'll experience, practice, and lead Tai Chi Easy™, gaining firsthand knowledge of its evidence-based benefits, such as stress reduction, improved focus, and enhanced overall well-being.
In this program, you will learn:
- Gentle movements: Learn simplified forms that promote healing, balance, flexibility, and relaxation.
- Breathing techniques: Discover how to synchronize your breath with movement to enhance energy flow and calm the mind.
- Mindfulness and meditation: Experience the meditative aspect of tai chi, helping you cultivate inner peace and presence.
- Self-applied massage: Enhance circulation and promote overall well-being by soothing muscles and relieving tension.
As a Tai Chi Easy™ practice leader, you’ll acquire the skills and confidence to lead 30- to 60-minute practice sessions that are accessible to individuals of all abilities. The easiest portions of this gentle mind-body practice system can be performed standing, sitting, or lying down. The practice evolves to include a very accessible entry to a simple tai chi walking form. Many yoga teachers weave Tai Chi Easy into their yoga and meditation classes.
If you’re not inclined to teach, many take this class for personal development and enjoyment.
