A Mindfulness Retreat
Reconnect, refocus, and find shared purpose
Build a Culture of Connection
One of the greatest gifts of a mindfulness practice is that it helps us build more meaningful, lasting, transformative connections with ourselves, other people, and life itself—the type of relationships that can change the world.
Join Jeremy David Engels, the author of Living Namaste and On Mindful Democracy, and learn how to build a culture of connection in your life and community. If you’ve read the books beforehand, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and experience first-hand ideas and practices from the page. If you haven’t read the books, you’ll learn the foundational concepts of building a culture of connection so that you are able to reconnect to yourself and your values and deeper purpose, to other people, and to the miraculous life that we all share.
In this retreat, you will:
- Understand what it means to create a culture of connection and develop new practices for building this culture in your life.
- Experience a mindfulness practice that reveals the oft-hidden connections between yourself, other people, and the natural world.
- Develop new mindfulness practices and practical communication skills for building connections with other people, including new ways to say hello, and new ways to navigate difficult conversations.
- Put mindful connection in motion through yoga and walking meditation.
- Understand why community matters, and why it is so much better to build a community based on love versus enemyship.
- Learn what it means to change the world, and why such change involves both individual transformation and community effort.
In our time together, you will experience a mindfulness practice that greatly expands your sense of who you are, and that prepares you to engage in life with new vigor and purpose.
