Are all poems prayers? Definitely not.This heart-centered retreat will explore the searching nature of prayer: the human yearnings it taps into, the sometimes-known, sometimes-strange terrains of the soul it voices. We will explore well and lesser-known poems in the group, as well as have time for writing and reflecting.In this program, you will:Discover the introspective roots of poetry.Discuss in a compassionate group setting.Write and perform personal reflection.This retreat is for people of all approaches to poetry: well-read and new to reading poems.
