Your Body Never Meant You Any Harm
Heal Your Relationship with Your Body
Embodiment is the practice of reconnecting with your body as a source of wisdom, feeling, and aliveness. Yet many women experience disconnection, criticism, or conflict with their bodies. This retreat invites you into a compassionate and transformative exploration of your relationship with your body, offering a safe space to explore healing, self-compassion, and a more embodied way of living.
Together, we will explore how disconnection from the body develops, how healing becomes possible through presence and self-compassion, and how an embodied life can be sustained with gentleness and intention.
Through reflection, somatic practices, and gentle movement, you will:
- Explore the cultural, personal, and inherited experiences that shape body disconnection.
- Reconnect with your body and release old stories through Body Forgiveness.
- Cultivate emotional resilience and self-compassion to navigate grief, shame, regret, and self-blame.
- Learn how to sustain an embodied life through presence, community, and connection.
This is an invitation to develop a lifelong relationship with your body—one rooted not in control or criticism, but in compassion, curiosity, and belonging.
NOTE: We encourage participants to arrive a day early for a day of R&R and experience the final day of Contemplative Week in silence.
