What is the Kripalu approach to yoga?

For Kaitlin Curtice, healing begins with connection—connection to ourselves, to one another, and to Mother Earth. A citizen of the Potawatomi Nation and someone of Celtic descent, her work is rooted in storytelling, kinship, and the belief that writing and gathering can be forms of medicine.

For Lauren Peters, healing is inseparable from land, lineage, and community. A member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, her work brings together ancestral growing practices, yoga, and community care to support healing for both people and place.

For Sharon Oxendine, healing begins with relationship: relationship to self, to ancestry, to community, and to the natural world. Guided by Indigenous wisdom, ancestral practice, and a lifelong commitment to healing, her work invites people to return to what is most essential: respect, dignity, and connection.

Writing and yoga may seem like separate practices, but together they offer a powerful way to move through blocks, deepen awareness, and unlock a more natural, creative flow.
