Owen Marcus
Presenter
For 40 years, Owen Marcus has developed programs for men that bring together mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy, and the science of emotional physiology. Owen’s teachings transform individuals and relationships by reconnecting men to lost parts of themselves, and by showing men how to be strong and open simultaneously. As the cofounder and director of education at EVRYMAN, Owen continues to develop effective ways to use emotions and physiology as tools to create fulfilling relationships and purposeful lives. The EVRYMAN Approach—a natural model for a man’s way to experience and express emotions—continues to prove effective in the lives of the men who embrace it. Owen’s book Grow Up: A Man’s Guide to Masculine Emotional Intelligence lays out a set of skills most men are never taught growing up.
