Ken Nelson, PhD, a Kripalu Legacy Faculty member, is dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and awaken through the wisdom of mind-body practices. With a background in gentle yoga, qigong, and meditation, Ken brings a compassionate and accessible approach to personal transformation.
A former Fulbright lecturer and Kripalu Scholar-in-Residence, Ken has been leading workshops worldwide since 1975. His popular Yin Yoga CD and Qigong & Taiji for Healing & Vitality DVD are among Kripalu’s best-selling resources.
Ken is coauthor—along with David Ronka, Lesli Lang, Jim White, and Liz Korabek-Emerson—of the acclaimed book Designing & Leading Life-Changing Workshops: Creating the Conditions for Transformation in Your Groups, Trainings, and Retreats, which has sold over 38,000 copies and reached #1 in eight Amazon categories.
