Body Harmony A Therapeutic Weekend of Profound Self-Care
- Presenter: Antoinette Simms
FUNCTIONAL AND EFFECTIVE TOOLS FOR BETTER HEALTH
Join Kripalu faculty, Antoinette Sims, for an interactive program that offers opportunities to practice self-care through various therapeutic techniques.
Learn techniques, routines, and sequences using therapy tools—including the physio ball, soft foam roller, Yoga Tune Up® Balls, and a chair—while experiencing somatic movement, sound therapy, and sacred movement.
Cultivate a felt sense of connection with, and awareness of, the body as you:
- Release physical, emotional, and mental tension.
- Improve your flexibility and overall mobility.
- Heal and bring balance into your daily life.
This program encourages group sharing to integrate your experience with a community of like-minded people. Return home knowing how to weave these self-care techniques into your everyday life.
NOTE Please bring a physio ball, soft density foam roller with optional strap, and the Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls with you to the program (the highlighted words are links to Antoinette's recommendations). For most bodies 5’2” and taller, the 65cm physio ball is recommended. These items can be folded and easily transported in a suitcase.
